Forget Olympics, invest in Paralympics

Yes, the much talked about London Olympics has come and gone with so much fanfare. Who said Naija was not well rep? Then you didn't watch the opening ceremony.
Nigerian contingent were given thumbs up for their outfit. I saw it and I was proud to be a Naija woman. What happened after that is story for another day.
The long and short of my story is that those able bodied athletes came back with nothing after those in charge have 'wasted' billions of Naira in preparing for the game.
Now, it is the turn of physically challenged athletes to showcase their potentials and some people (I have not mentioned names o) are harassing them to come home with a specific number of medals.
The truth must be told, our paralympians leave for the games without fanfare, get their medals (without some officials back home telling them 150 millions depend on them) and they return without recognition.
God will judge it o
My suggestion: Lets invest more in the physically challenged athletes if we are concerned about wining medals at the Olympics.
