A CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THE CATE GREEN POSTER & SHORT STORY CONTEST FOR CHILDREN

 
Children And The Environment [CATE], a Non-Governmental Organization [NGO] dedicated to reducing environmental hazards to children and young people’s health using the creative arts is marking International Children's Book Day [April 2] and Earth Day [April 22] with a poster and short story contest for children on the environment.
 The CATE GREEN Poster and Short Story Contest for children aged 9 to 16 is now open. Entry date is April 2 – Closing date is April 30, 2013.
 WHAT TO DO - Draw a Poster on A4 size paper or Write a short story of no more than 1,000 words with the title: LET’S CLEANUP & GREENUP OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
The winning short story will be turned into a short Green Comic whilst the winning artwork would be used as the cover. The comic will form part of promotional materials at the 2013 CATE cleanup event. The event is part of “Let’s Do It World” – a global cleanup project started in 2008 in the Nordic country of Estonia with ambition to clean up the whole world of illegal garbage!
